Lake Sunapee is located within Sullivan County and Merrimack County in western New Hampshire. At 8.1 miles long and from 0.5 to 2.5 miles wide covering 6.5 square miles, it is the fifth largest lake located entirely in New Hampshire.  There are three towns around the lake, Sunapee to the west, Newbury lies to its southeast and southwest and New London is to its east and it contains eleven islands.  It became a popular vacation area long before the introduction of the automobile with the extension of the B&M Railroad into Newbury. Steamship service developed on the lake to accommodate the new populace.  They ferried passengers from the south end of the lake to cottages and large resort hotels around the lake. wikipedia
The Armenia White, which is captured on this card, was the largest and finest steamer ever to sail Sunapee.  It was built at the ironworks at Chester, Pennsylvania in 1886 and was 101 feet long, 23 feet in beam and carried 650 passengers.  She carried a crew of seven, a captain, an engineer, a fireman, a ticket seller, a ticket taker, a baggage man, and a candy/paper boy.  In 1917, after 30 years of sailing the lake, the Armenia White needed a new boiler.  It was decided that the repair would not be profitable, and the ship was tied up at a wharf at Georges Mills for 21 years and finally was cut up and sold for scrap.   johngreenwood.
We still have its image on this Real Photo Card with a railroad postmark of 1915.  There is not a photographer or publisher credit but there is a caption lower front that identifies the scene.  It is in good condition with minor wear on the corners and edges.  The image is clean and clear but has a cancellation pressure mark that shows on the front.  The reverse is clean and clear.  It is History on a Card.

The colors on the images are a more neutral B&W.
Unless otherwise noted, I use Wikipedia for research.
