Very beautifully formed, small, light yellow fluorite crystals with purple edge zones, which are partially slightly parqueted, have grown on a matrix of quartz-containing side rocks.

Also interesting is the crystal shape with beveled cube edges that suggest a combination of cube and octahedron.

As a special feature, trisoctahedral formation can be recognized by these fluorite crystals at some corners. An absolute rarity and rarity of the crystal

form.

The collector piece comes from one of the best-known sites for minerals in Namibia - the Okorusu mine northeast of Otjiwarongo.

The piece measures approx. 4.5cm x

4cm × 3cm consists of a compact adhesion of attractive crystals and certainly is a great addition to every mineral collection, as specimens of such quality are not often offered from this finding point.
