Vintage BMW M Style Leather Jacket 38" Chest.

This is a midnight blue Nappa leather jacket (lambskin) from around 1989/90s. Features the 3 colour stripes associated with BMW Motorsport. These jackets were offered by BMW dealers to complement their M3 cars. I've read that the the jackets were colour matched to the car's leather interior. (I can't verify this though).

The jacket is a blouson style typical of the era. It has 2 front pockets. One zipped internal pocket. Elastic waistband with BMW logo badge. Two press stud fasteners on each cuff. Double front zipper so that the jacket can be unzipped partially from the waistband for driving. The jacket is fully lined in blue with BMW detailing. The lining is a little dirty at the cuffs.

Size measurements are:

Base of collar to cuff = 30" / 76cm

Pit to pit = 19" / 48cm

Back length from base of collar = 24" / 62cm.

Please check the sizes against a similar jacket that you own to be sure this will fit you.

The collar tag shows 48 which will refer to the pit-to-pit size in centimeters.

It's  a slim fit which was the style back in the day and fits me fairly well and I normally wear 38R jackets.

There are some very small nicks on the jacket. None have made a hole through the leather. One is on the lower front panel near the pocket. Two are near to the left arm cuff. The is also one on the rear left shoulder area. I've tried to show these in the photos but you'd be hard pressed to spot them unless you were looking for them.  For a jacket which is over 30 years old, the condition is pretty good.

The jacket has had a good wipe over with a leather conditioning cloth.

This is a great looking jacket which surely is a must for any BMW car enthusiast.
