This plat map/soil map is from a 1914 Plat Book of Sangamon County Illinois showing acreage and ownership, and nature of soil as classified by U.S. Goverment Survey. This book was compiled and published by The Sangamon County Abstract Company in 1914.

This is a very nice colored map that contains interesting information including the property owners names and acreage, churches, schools, cemeteries, public/private/steam/ and electric roads, grain elevators, and soil types.

The title page is not Included in this auction but a photocopy will be included.

This map is a single page measuring 14¾" x 17". This map would present nicely in a frame.

This is an original 110 year old map, not a copy or reprint.
