1955 Type 2 Proof Franklin half dollar has been certified by NGC with a grade of PF 68. The coin is composed of silver with a fineness of 0.9 and has a strike type of proof. It features the image of Benjamin Franklin on the obverse and an Eagle on the reverse. This coin was minted in Philadelphia and is considered uncirculated with a proof strike with a superior Superb Gem + grade. The coin is encapsulated in an NGC holder and maintains its original blast white with mirrored fields look.  This Franklin half dollar is an excellent addition to any coin collection and a great piece of American history and is a great value considering is wonderful eye appeal.
