This vintage 60s green patterned velvet hooded maxi coat in size XS is simply stunning. Made from cotton velvet it has an all over pale green sprig print, it features an unlined interior and is perfect for a mod 60s hippie look. It is obviously a one off, hand made and at approx 60 years old, it’s not perfect. So I’ve made a few notes on its condition so you can be sure of what you’re getting.

On the bodice and hood condition is very hood. One tiny damage mark on upper shoulder.

The skirt of the coat is also very good. I can see one tiny hole.

The coat hem is the area of note. See last photo to show one of the small areas of damage of a few, along the entire hem. If you can shorten the coat then this would not be a problem

Attach strips of faux fur along the hem, cuffs and hood for a real hippie look and if detachable, cool idea.
