The M15 engine, which was also known as the tii engine, was a 2.0L inline-four that had an output of 130hp and was fitted with mechanical fuel injection. This engine was sold as standard with a 4-speed manual transmission, but a 5-speed manual was available as an option, with both transmissions sending drive to the rear wheels. Production of the BMW 2002tii Coupe ended in 1975, with a total of 38,703 examples built.
