Antique Italian Maiolica Mythological Harpy Candlesticks
This is a very unusual pair of Itlian maiolica candlesticks in the form of mythological harpies, womans head & torso with a bird of prey wings & body, circa late 1800's / early 1900's.
CONDITION with repair to both ring handles, chip to one sconce, chip to the base of a tail - as per images
The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.
