Coconut & Carved Wood Articulated / Animated Woodworkers & Rat Rum Dipper

This is an extraordinary carved wood & coconut rum dipper, crossing the line between antiques & art & very much a gallery piece, circa mid 1900's.

A pair of woodworkers are depicted planing a plank while a rat runs below, as the rat moves back & forth the woodworkers are animated at work.

CONDITION in great working condition - as per images

The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.
