This is a scarce and unusual c1950 vintage hand carved and hand painted wooden model of an Officer 12th Lancers.It has been beautifully hand made using wood metal paper cardboard and cotton and it is in an excellent condition and was purchased from Harrods Department Store in London in c1950 possibly 1951 when my father was working for the store.It’s overall measurements are 34.5cm tall x 8.7cm in diameter across the base and the actual figure measures 8.5cm wide x 6cm wide.
