No date, but C. 1910
Isle Of Man Illustrated
Rev. John Quine.
Stated 7th Edition.
The book is in POOR condition:
Duct tape to spine.
Staining, tearing, discoloration to cover.
Pages have tape repairs, damaged edges, some are partially loose.
Pages have smudges, and fingerprints.
This book was found at a Nevada estate, and it has an interesting history.
On the upper right corner of the cover is an inscription:
William Wadebog
Columbia
Esmerelda Co
Nevada
US America
There is no date to the inscription, but with the date of the book being C. 1910, and the known boom of Columbia being 1907 to 1915 it lines up that this is an authentic Columbia, Nevada inscription.
Interestingly, three of the large B&W photos have been hand colored.
One, in pencil says "By Francis"
