GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible for your consideration. This Corvette comes in a Milano Maroon exterior over a Black interior. Powering this Corvette is a 327 cubic inch V8. Paired with a 4-speed manual transmission making this driving experience a blast. This Corvette received a full frame off restoration in 1983 and was repainted in 1987 (current paint). Since then this Corvette has had a ton of new upgrades such as, an engine rebuild in 2018 along with a new top, new lifters, a new radiator, high output oil pump, and an Edelbrock carburetor in 2024. Additionally, this Corvette has hooker stainless steel headers and side pipes, and much more. This Corvette has only two original owners since new. Drive this one out of our showroom or have us assist with shipping it to you anywhere in the United States! Don't hesitate to call us with any questions or for more information.
For its third season, the 1965 Corvette Sting Ray further cleaned up style-wise and was muscled up with the addition of an all-new braking system and larger power plants. 1965 styling alterations were subtle, confined to a smoothed-out hood now devoid of scoop indentations, a trio of working vertical exhaust vents in the front fenders that replaced the previous nonfunctional horizontal "speedlines," restyled wheel covers and rocker-panel moldings, and minor interior trim revisions. The 1965 Corvette Sting Ray became ferocious with the mid-year debut of the "Big-Block" 396 cu in (6,490 cc) engine producing 425 hp.
