The chainstay protectors and patches are light, durable, weather and wear resistant vinyl, not real carbon fiber. The carbon fiber finish/effect isn't printed - it's 3D textured carbon fiber twill-weave. Each weave is about 0.20 inches (5.0mm) and the thickness of the material is about 6mil (0.15mm). Fits most bicycle chainstays. Available in matte / dry black or glossy / wet black - see photo for comparison and search my other listings for the other one.
INSTALLATION: Easily cut and trimmed to the size and shape you need. Thoroughly clean the surfaces to be applied with alcohol and allow to dry. Peel-and-stick (like a decal or sticker), or apply a little heat (like from a hair dryer) to allow the product to be applied and conform to curves and 3 Dimensional surfaces - it's stretchable and shapable with heat!
