Obverse - Curved vertical die gouge at base of left cotton boll and long thin die scratch from left side of that boll to right of Y in LIBERTY.  Thick die gouge through front wheat leaf above L in LIBERTY.  Broken point on fourth right star.  Polishing lines in and around nostril, inside ear, and between cotton leaf and wheat leaf.  Die chips around cotton leaves.  Die gouges through cap band and from cap into hair.  7 in date doubled at right side and top.

Reverse - 1879 Reverse with slanted arrow feather.  Squared feather next to eagle's right leg.  Cut down A in AMERICA.  Polishing lines in wreath bow.  Doubled U in UNITED.  Polishing lines and metal in eagle's neck wing gap.
