1980 Original Signed Scott Rice Oregon Landscape CireCraft Wax Painting. This original one of a kind piece was crated using the cirecraft method. There are only a few artists in the world that use this technique. Special paper is pulled through pools of melted was to paint the sky, hills and background. The subject is then painted over the background using tiny irons to add or remove colored wax. the finished painting is sealed with a special coating so it will not melt or scratch. The cirecraft technique was the brain child of Quebec artist Marie- Clair Wadden.  Frame measures 5.5"x 6.5". Piece was created by Scott Rice and depicts the Oregon landscape. It has been matted and framed under a protectant clear cover. Good over all vintage condition. Protective cover and frame could use a light cleaning. See my many pics for additional condition details.
