Lowepro was born from one daring mountaineer’s desire to capture some of the world’s most unexplored beauty spots, with just a camera in tow. Greg Lowe made it his mission to create only the best in innovative, cutting-edge equipment, to protect extreme sporting lovers’ cameras and cinematography equipment from the heart-pounding elements.
The humble Colorado garage beginning of the world’s first Internal Frame Backpack in 1967 pays tribute to Lowe’s enduring belief that he could be the one to design a close-fitting and supportive backpack to transport camera and recording equipment that had otherwise never been seen before. Climbers, mountain bikers, skiers and hikers could now comfortably carry their equipment to heights that only they had known, capturing intimate sights for the rest of the world to see.
Lowe’s first defying feat paved the way for the original Soft-sided Protective Camera Bag.
And with that, the Lowepro mark took off.

The Fastpack II series is ideal for travel, business or pleasure. The next-generation pack design provides lots of versatility and enhanced protection: with a built-in All Weather AW Cover, trolley straps, removable padded waistbelt.
The Fastpack II series also boasts three primary storage zones, providing room for camera gear, a laptop and accessories as well as personal items in each of the models. A quick reach side entry makes sure you can always access your gear for when you need that instant shot.

The Fastpack II series is packed full of features to protect and transport your gear. A built-in All Weather AW Cover safeguards against rain, dust, sand and snow, whilst trolley straps and a removable padded waist belt provides ease and comfort when you’re on the go. Enjoy rapid retrieval of your DSLR with the easy 180-degree side-entry access to the camera zone compartment. Adjustable dividers provide storage of up to 3 extra lenses or flash units (see gear fit guide below for details). A security flap closure provides additional protection to outer compartments when on the move.
The open zone, an organizer pocket located in the upper half of the bag enables fast access to accessories and personal items. The dedicated device zone, with space for a laptop and padded CradleFit pocket, found in the rear of the backpack, is designed to fit a laptop of up to 11 inches or 15 inches in size depending on the chosen Fastpack model. An external mesh side pocket provides additional space.

The customizable camera zone includes a padded and adjustable interior, full-access zippered opening, and a bright grey interior for high visibility. The dedicated device zone includes CradleFit tablet protection and a well-padded laptop pocket. A security flap with quick-release buckles covers an outer pocket. The open zone at the top of the pack has multiple pockets and space for organizing your smartphone, cables, pens, keys and other items.
Secure the Fastpack backpack to a rolling trolley via the compression straps, and keep valuable gear protected from the elements with the built-in All Weather AW Cover. The padded and removable waistbelt offers extra comfort during use, as well as the ability to stash during travel. A tall, stretch-mesh side pocket holds a water bottle or tripod base (secured with side compression straps). The Fastpack BP 250 AW II fits a DSLR with attached lens (such as Nikon D810 with up to 70-200mm f/2.8), 2-3 extra lenses or flashes, up to a 15" laptop plus tablet, a large smartphone, headphones, hard drive, keys, etc.
