Often the trailers will fall off the car or the existing trailer stands that are mounted to the trailer will fold down as the train is operated on your layout. This stand will mount to your piggyback car and a pin will engage the existing hole in the trailer firmly holding it in place. This kit will attach to the car using a non invasive method requiring no drilling, gluing or modifications to the car in any way! This will preserve the collector value of the car and improve functionality by providing a realistic means of keeping the trailers in place as you operate your trains!You will need to remove the black steel diamond shaped trailer retaining rail on the car. The kit will include a washer and screw to fasten the trailer stand through the first diamond shaped hole on each end of the car. Then simply screw the black diamond shaped rail back onto the car and you are good to go!
