A vintage information booklet from 1955, about “The German Underground Hospital” on Jersey (Channel Islands), during it occupation in the Second World War.

This 12 page booklet has photos of the underground tunnels with text describing their use, together with a plan of the structure.

It is important to remember this military occupation of the Channel Islands by Nazi Germany during the Second World War. Fortunately, a large proportion of the islanders were transported to England ahead of the occupation.
