DescriptionUp for sale is a Vintage “Imagination Science Fiction” Pulp Magazine! This is a rare vintage science fiction pulp magazine published by the Greenleaf Publishing Company in February 1957, as Volume 8 Number 1, with a wonderful painted cover by pulp artist Lloyd Rognan. It is a rare 130-page Science-Fiction and Fantasy pulp magazine measuring about 7⅝” x 5¼”. The magazine includes Compete or Die! by Mark Reinsberg, The Man Who Made Himself by Charles Beaumont, Outcast of the Stars by Robert Silverberg, The Time Snatcher by Randall Garrett, The Incomplete Theft by Randall Garrett and Robert Silverberg (as by Ralph Burke), Bleekman’s Planet by Randall Garrett and Robert Silverberg (as by Ivar Jorgensen). These are the original first printings of these classic science fiction stories and novelettes in any publication. The stories include several illustrations by artists Lloyd Rognan and Bill Terry plus cartoons by Luther Scheffy, Bill Reid, Bob Tupper, and Troop. As shown in the photos, the magazine is in very good condition for its age with a little cover wear and light soiling. The magazine is complete and remains well bound. It has clean pages with a very light water stain along one edge and no writing, creases, rips, or tears. This rare vintage “Imagination” science fiction pulp magazine would make a great addition to your collection!
