Purchased this car 2 years ago, drove the car 1hr from PA to NY with no issues.

Weeks after the car check engine came on.

Took the car to Maserati and was advised it will need new timing gear or possibly a new engine.

Since, I purchased all of the timing tools (included with car on this sale)

Last attempt to get rid of it.

Will remove and rebuild / replace engine if not sold

This Maserati has a Ferrari block and hardware, the heads contain many chrysler parts ( phasers, sensors) very similar to Pentastar.

It is a sweet little project, which I had the time and space to dig into it further.
