What Are Straight Edges?

A straight edge is a solid guide that is used for marking, cutting and scoring straight lines accurately. Maun’s range of aluminium safety straight edges is available in ten metric lengths from 300 mm to a huge 3000 mm.

Accurate And Safe

A Maun Aluminium Safety Straight Edge is engineered for both accuracy and safety. Its bevelled edge is finished to an accuracy of 0.001 inch per foot. In metric units, this results in a variation of no more than 0.084 mm per metre. The innovative profile positions fingers in the recessed area, well away from sharp tools used for cutting or scoring. A non-slip, foam-rubber backing ensures safe, secure working.

Functional Tool

This straight edge tool is functional too. The bevelled edge provides unobstructed vision of the line being drawn or cut being made. There is a single 6 mm diameter hanging hole for easy, damage-free storage. The tool is lightweight, for use by busy professionals and serious DIY-ers.
