Raffaele Caruso opened his first workshop in Soragna during the economic boom years of 1958, after completing the demanding Neapolitan tailoring school. He hired two seamstresses, one of whom became his wife and the other his sister-in-law. Like many other company founders in those magical years in Italy, he created a globally operating company with 600 employees with determination and total commitment. An empire that aspires to play a leading role in the development of luxurious Italian menswear. With success. Today, Caruso sets international standards, combines modern technology with traditional craftsmanship and demonstrates a great love of experimentation. 30 design specialists design four thousand (!) prototypes a year. The highest challenge counts as the source of the greatest possible creativity. It is precisely the combination of craftsmanship, innovative technology and the extremely productive creative team that makes Caruso unique in the cosmos of the Italian Sartoria.
The sustainable and ongoing success of the luxury label currently makes Caruso one of the most modern European producers of sartorial men's fashion and therefore indispensable in the SOBS range. With its fine fabrics, colors and designs, valuable craftsmanship and modern processing techniques, Caruso creates exclusive it-pieces for the discerning man.

SOBS Cologne

SOBS was founded in Cologne in 1995.

After a successful first few years, in 2003 we moved to the more than 200m² large, inviting premises at Hahnenstraße 10 in the heart of Cologne city centre. Since then, the shop has been easily accessible between Neumarkt and Rudolfplatz, near Mittelstrasse. The modern and luxuriously equipped premises offer the perfect setting to present the first-class products.

Owner Oliver Brose has made it his goal to only carry the highest quality Italian fashion brands for men. The aim is to interpret classic and handmade Italian men's fashion in a modern and contemporary way.

In this luxury segment, the SOBS shop offers a selection that is almost unique in Germany. In addition to the luxury range of over 25 brands, service and customer satisfaction are of the utmost importance in the owner-managed business. Individual customer advice, custom-made products and changes are offered in the in-house workshop on customer request.

In 2012, with the launch of SOBS' own internet shop, customers are given the opportunity to purchase luxury items conveniently and easily online.

In Cologne and beyond the borders of the Rhineland, SOBS men's fashion is a unique institution with a distinctive interior and a unique range of brands.
