However, if you are in a relationship with anyone who consistently causes you to feel afraid or unsafe, please get help! Get to a safe place. You can forgive from a safe place. Your relationship with that person may not be the same as it was before, but you can still release forgiveness to them in your heart and mind from a safe distance, where you are cared for and loved.
