An ornate ancient Hobnail design adorns this black cast iron teapot and trivet set with ceramic coating on the inside. Great for displaying and steeping your favorite tea.

Excellent unused condition, no rust or defects noted.

The first cast iron teapot appeared in China in the fourth century BC. They were then improved by the Japanese – who call them Tetsubin – to become an object of common use but also of decoration.
