True vintage 1960's tent-style dress made according to Mary Quant's design which was introduced in 1964.  No tears, stains or odors.  This dress was probably home-tailored.  There are no labels.  Original nylon TALON zipper works perfectly.  The only flaw found is 2 pinholes near the collar in back.  See photos.  The fabric is a synthetic with a jacquard floral design.  The fabric color is light blue, but the thread forming the design has a pale yellow cast so the dress appears to be aqua in some lights.  The dress is well-made with pinked seams, wide seam allowances and a 2 12" hem allowance.  2 hooks and loops at back of collar.  Careful hand-stitching at the armhole facings and the hem.  Stand collar with comfortable fit.  See measurements below.  The size is basically Free from the underarms down, which was what made Quant's original so revolutionary.  Women had never experienced such comfort and easy-wear.  The style can also be belted, if desired.  Measurements are taken lying flat and are approximate.  Neck opening:  about 20"  Shoulder to shoulder:  about 15" - 16" (shoulders are cut in so there is no shoulder seam)  Underarm to Underarm:  up to about 42"  Waist area:  up to about 45"  Shoulder to hem:  about 34".  Dress has not been cleaned.  I sell from a smoke-free and pet-free location.  My schedule does not allow me to accept returns so I try to describe items accurately and in detail.  Please compare to a dress that fits you well and ask any questions you may have.  Thank you!
