This is a beautiful vintage Great Britain stamp from the 1840s, featuring a red penny denomination. It was printed using the line-engraved method, with the image of Queen Victoria prominently displayed. The stamp is cancelled with a numeral and was used to send a letter from Manchester to Hayle, Cornwall on April 26th.

The stamp has been gently used and is in fine/very fine condition, with no significant flaws or damage. This is a wonderful addition to any stamp collection and a true piece of history from the Victorian era.
