Bull Lines - A 5.25" diameter side or "monkey" dish from the onboard china service of the company's only post-WW2 passenger ship, the PUERTO RICO.

The dish features concentric thin red and thick blue lines along the "Bull Lines" in red script. The dish is bottom-marked Wellsville China with a manufacturing date of 1950.

The company lost their two passenger liners during the war and replaced them in 1949 with the purchase of the Porto Rico Line's BORINQUEN. Renamed PUERTO RICO, the ship carried 200-passengers on the New York to San Juan route. The service was not successful and in 1953 the ship was sold to Arosa Line. Bull Lines soldiered on with freighter service until 1956 when the company was sold.

Excellent condition.
