Some of the plating has worn off the on the back around the studs, I also noticed when I was taking photos that one earring is a tad longer than the other. It looks like the bottom is not curled as much as the other one. Not being a jeweler I'm not going to try to even it out. They are still a beautiful pair of earrings.
