This is the latest release of the infamous Roaring Lion.  The coin got this moniker because of its reverse design, which has a lion’s head in the spotlight, depicted with a wide open mouth and sharp teeth, as it is roaring. This lion is named the Lion of Judah because of the Aleph Tav Symbol את on the crown.

The obverse design showcases the Coat of Arms of Niue, the coin’s face value, and the year of issuance.

Something that may go unnoticed by some is the hidden “truth” featured on every coin. This feature is a staple for every coin in the Truth series, and adds value for many customers. For the new 2024 5 oz Silver Roaring Lion coin, a message that reads “Stand Firm Then” has been micro-engraved onto the front of the crown on the Lion's head. When put together with the other three designs of the 2024 Truth series, they create the Bible verse Ephesians 6:14.

The inscriptions “5 TROY OUNCE .9999 FINE SILVER” engraved beneath the crowned lion refer to the coin’s weight, metal content, and purity.
