Antique oil on canvas painting, Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane, after Heinrich Hofmann. This famous painting has been copied by many artists since Hofmann painted the original in 1890. This appears to be a very early version; the canvas looks quite old and is nailed to wood stretchers. It is not signed. Measures 22" x 27". Good condition, with a few small spots of paint loss.
