Beautiful example of the finest portable typewriter ever made.  Typewriter is in near MINT condition and shows no ware.  Carry case lid was damaged so I replaced it with one I had in stock.  The substitute carry case lid had a name etched into the top and shows some ware but is fully functional.  Fantastic print quality and touch these a well noted for.  I have been servicing Hermes typewriter for over 60 years and was a Hermes dealer and service center when I owned my typewriter shop in Chicago.  I sold and serviced these new so I really know these wonderful machines.  I have personally restored this beauty and everything works perfectly.  The platen has been professionally recovered by JJ Short and all other rollers are in excellent condition.
