This listing is for a stunning vintage handcrafted Murano/Venetian glass necklace. Made by artisans in Italy during the 1940s. This vintage Venetian necklace boasts multi-colored (copper/blush) Murano glass beads, hand knotted for a unique and high-quality piece.  Each hand made bead varies in the shades of colors and because they are hand blown pieces of art they are not exactly the same size and shape, although mostly round in size.  I listed this necklace as copper/blush in color, it is looks copper in color with a hint of pink or blush.  The beads that separate the larger round beads are a pinkish color.  This would make a great summer necklace because of the colors.  The barrel clasp will keep the necklace secure on your neck.
The pictures do not do this necklace justice, it is a beautifully crafted piece of wearable art.
This necklace was handmade in Italy between 1940-1949, it is a one-of-a-kind find and a true work of art. The necklace measures 19 inches in length.  Intricately handmade with care and attention to detail.  Want a piece of jewelry no one else has? This is it.
I have this necklace listed as pre-owned, The barrel clasp works as it should.
An original Murano/Venetian bead necklace made in Italy.

This necklace will arrive in a nice gift box suitable for giving or keeping.

HISTORY:  Murano glass jewelry has been produced since the 13th century. Originally produced in Venice but due to a fear of fire in the city, the Hierarchy decided to move the factories to the island of Murano, thus the name Murano. This glass jewelry is also commonly known as Venetian glass Jewelry. The skills of glassblowing originated in the East, Egypt, and Syria, by integrating eastern skills with that of the Murano Master craftsmen, they created a unique product.
