I worked news at a group of radio stations in Richmond, VA when UVA star Dawn Staley visited for an interview in the late 90's. She signed this great 1996 Atlanta Olympics pennant and added her uniform number 5 with the year and "Gold" for the '96 Atlanta Olympics women's basketball win. Now she has won the 2023 NCAA Championship coaching her South Carolina women's basketball team! This pennant has been stored in a plastic sleeve since it was signed thirty years ago! Signed in gold paint pen, it looks as good today as it did back then!
