A two-car race team is for sale. Vintage formula vees: 

 

1971 Caldwell D13 (FV1). 

 

This car has been competing with VARA in Southern California for at least the last decade and won the FV1 title in 2016 and 2017. The Caldwell competed in the 50th FV Festival at Roebling Raceway in 2013. 

The Caldwell D13 has zero-roll suspension, a correct FV 1200 engine, custom adjustable high-torque starter, ceramic-coated headers, off-set bushings, custom tie rods, and American Racer slick tires. The harnesses was installed in 2021. Arm restraints are included. The car has the correct fuel cell gas tank in good condition. Additional frame and roll bar strengthening was completed by Autopower of San Diego. Kevlar on body panels at drive position. 

1987 Vindicator (FV3). 

 

The Vindicator is one of six produced. The Vindicator has been competing with VARA in Southern California for at least the last decade. The car also competed in the 50th FV Festival at Roebling Raceway in 2013. The Vindicator lead the Group 3 Flag race until a last lap spinout. 

 

The Vindicator has zero-roll suspension, a correct FV 1200 engine, ceramic-coated headers, and American Racer slick tires. The Autopower harnesses was installed in 2021. Arm restraints are included. Mono steering wheel. Kevlar on body at driver position. The car has the correct fuel cell gas tank in good condition. Additional frame and roll bar strengthening was completed by Autopower of San Diego. Current livery for the Vindicator is black with gold numbers.

 

The engines were built by Dietmar Bauerle of Quixote Racing and are completely legal 1200 engines. The heads were originally flowed by Bill Noble. Spares include a complete engine (needs re-fresh), a rebuilt transaxle (not used since rebuild), new brake drums, coils, condensers, batteries, wheel bearings, gas jugs, etc., etc.
