These two ca. 1915 newel toppers from the same balustrade are very similar but not identical matches. The taller measures 4 1/2" square x 3 1/2" tall while its mate is 4 1/2" x 4 3/8" x 2 3/4" tall. Each is crafted from laminated golden white oak with grungy worn old varnish and displays lots of variety in the grain. The tops are end grain.
