Up for auction is a large Dutch Boy figurine and he is lighting his pipe.  His pantaloons are quite glossy while other parts of the figurine have a matte finish.  There is no makers mark that I can see, but there is some writing on the underside of the pedestal.  This lovely piece caught my eye at a recent estate sale.  It is quite stunning.
