A Charming, Bell-Shaped Cut Glass Pendant

Suspended from a generously sized silvered hanging ring, this unusual light

dates from the first two decades of the 20th century.

Pleasingly small scaled, the clear, bell shaped lead crystal shade has been skilfully hand cut

into a pattern I would be tempted to call 'plaid', with vertical cuts at the neck and a fluted rim,

punctuated by horizontal bands.

It even rings like a bell when tapped due to the high-quality lead crystal it is made from.

Standard bayonet bulb fitting.
