Supermassive Black Hole (Phones Control Voltage Mix 7" Edit) Remix – Paul Epworth

Summary:- Starlight was written by Matt Bellamy while he was on a boat in bad weather, and it is described as a "love song about missing someone, friends, family, someone you love". He said it's about "what it's like to be on the road for a long period of time" and feeling disconnected. The lyrics express a sense of longing and chasing something unattainable, with lines like "I am chasing a starlight until the end of my life" and "I don't know if it's worth it anymore". The "starlight" is used as a metaphor for hope, inspiration, and a profound connection that the singer is seeking. However, the song also has a darker, more melancholic undertone, with references to "black holes and revelations" and the eventual "heat death of the universe". This creates a sense of dissonance between the hope represented by the starlight and the inevitability of despair and loss. "Starlight" is a complex, emotionally-charged song that grapples with themes of longing, hope, and the human condition, using the metaphor of starlight to convey both the beauty and the transience of our experiences.

About the Artist:  MUSE is an English alternative rock trio formed in Teignmouth in 1994. They are known for fusing together a variety of genres, including alternative rock, progressive rock, Space rock, Hard rock, Art rock, Electronic rock, Progressive Metal, Indie Rock and Pop as well as electronica and R&B. They have also incorporated classical music and rock opera into their sound. The band consists of Matthew Bellamy (guitar, piano, vocals), Chris Wolstenholme (bass) and Dominic Howard (drums).

Picture Discs:  Although pleasing to the eye, the overall sound quality of picture disc recordings are not always comparable to the better sounding black vinyl discs. This is due in part to the thin third layer of clear vinyl which supports the grooves. Collectors often collect picture discs as much for the "rock art" visual enjoyment and/or rarity as for the sound quality.
