10% is going to the Tunnel to Towers foundation! So they should get at least a $1,000 donation to help a Veteran in dire need. I’m giving up a piece of my family’s legacy to honor our Veterans. I’m getting older and I don’t want my younger generation to stash it in a closet without honestly caring.

It’s a win/win if I know someone will appreciate this and not getting lost in someone’s closet… which is how I obtained it a decade ago when a family member passed away.

Anyway….

Rare 1862 soldier Painting of a family member of mine. 6 cousins ago I believe. I can get documentation if needed.

I have the sword in the painting but not included in the auction because my brother has the sword.

So please let us keep the sword unless the price is right.

It’s sealed in museum glass and restored by a 3 decade prestigious semi affiliate with the Nelson art gallery in Kansas City MO.

Ask for Jackie that owns affordable framing in the last pic to verify.

She has framed thousands of items for celebrities, Kansas City athletes and music stars.

I hate to lose this, but I have 5 kids and I have to provide for them. I’m short on money.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I have hundreds of rare Civil War items! I’ve spent over a quarter mil back before the economy left town. So I’m forced to sell now.

Rare colts, Rifles, pistols, uniforms, blankets, navy monoculars, army binoculars, new faro card sets 1860’s I spent thousands on, engineering equipment, rare books, photos of Lincoln’s family, MANY items from Grant, George Washington’s powder horn. The list goes on.

Much appreciated!
