 Singer 31K48 Sewing Machine Head Rare Version with bottom Roller feed Shoemaker Leather Cobbler

Cast Iron body of sewing machine preserved in original good overall condition.



Item is used - visible sings of use in some places - Paint and decals are not in prefect condition, please see pictures.

Long beak shuttle and cylinder bed. For shoes and a large variety of articles made of leather, which are irregularly shaped, such as horse boots, saddles, suit cases, fine leather bags, portfolios, pocket books, music rolls, trusses, etc.

  • Machine is sewing, it's in good mechanical condition ,  timed , tuned ,ready to work. Does not miss stitches, stitch is balanced. 
  • Machine with roller presser foot. Slight backlash/play on this part , please see videos. Holds fabric still whem it is lowered. Works properly 
  • Machine with bottom roller feeding instead of feed dogs. Prefect for curved stitches
  • Real max stitch lenght is :   mm  ( measured from hole to hole on paprer )
  • It is timed to 16x2 needle
  •  All adjustments are working properly, moving freerly.

Set contains :

  • Singer 31K48 head
  • 5 needles for start 
  • 3 bobbins for start
  • Original cloth plate which transforms cylinder arm into flat bed. 


Set does not contain : Base/ Treadle Base/ Table , Table top, Motor , Belt .

  • Some easy-reassemble  protruding parts will be disassembled for safe shipment to avoid bending : 
Take up Lever , Take Up Lever Cover, Foot Lift Lever, Roller Foot, Knee Lift Lever , Bobbin winder
