Selling more than ten million copies worldwide, winner of the Man Booker Prize, adapted into film in 2012 and included in the 2022 "Big Jubilee Read" list of 70 books by Commonwealth authors selected to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Elizabeth II, this story tells of Pi Patel who survives 227 days after a shipwreck whilst stranded on a lifeboat in the Pacific Ocean with a Bengal tiger. 

The book is illustrated throughout with drawings by Tomislav Torjanac. 

In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. There are crease marks to the bottom corner of the front board and back board and a crease mark to the top edge of the spine. The end papers and pages are free from marks, tears and inscriptions. The original dark blue silk ribbon is still fully attached.
