This is a handmade wardrobe for Vintage Barbie and Ken. There are 12 outfits in total, all made from a 1962 McCall's pattern.
I have tried to keep the colours, patterns and fabrics as close to the pattern pictures. I have added some embellishments and accessories. The set includes:
- Barbie/Ken Winter suits- wool felt jackets with handknitted collars, sleeves, skirt. Wool fabric pants. Leather look clutch purse, matching hats.
- Barbie/Ken Summer set- shirt, shorts, handknit socks, newsboy cap for him, dress, kerchief, gloves and necklace for her sewn in cotton fabrics.
- Ballerina Set- white knit tights, pink satin tutu, wired headband with rosebuds, necklace.
- Ballgown- Silk taffeta lined fushia gown with hand beaded bodice, fushia chiffon stole with gold sparkles, gloves and clutch.
- Summer Shift- green print cotton lined dress with bodice ruffle, crocheted hat and bag, gloves and necklace.
- Knit Sweater Set- hand knit skirt and top in white, red knitted cardigan, pillbox hat, purse and necklace.
- Dress, Coat & Hat- Salmon silk dress with shoulder pin, slub textured brown lined coat and hat, necklace, gloves and purse.
- Tunic/Pant set- lavender cotton pants, lavender print tunic with pompom trim, necklace and bracelet.
- Bathing Suit/Cover-Up- white lined bathing suit/playsuit with button trim, lined hooded jacket with bias trim, wool felt bag, necklace
The clothing is very well made, small snap closures where necessary.
Also included are photo quality prints of the pattern. Includes two 8 X 10 colour prints, one of the pattern front, one of the pattern back, with clear acrylic photo stands. One 10 X 10 poster print of all 12 outfits. These photos were professionally printed and are suitable for framing to add a special touch to the display.
Items will arrive well packaged, acrylic dress forms included on most outfits.
