Pair Single Ended or Push Pull to SE or PP TUBE INTERSTAGE TRANSFORMERS. I bought 2 pairs of these about 40 years ago from a surplus store near Ft Monmouth New Jersey. They supplied loads of parts, tubes etc. to the US ARMY ELECTRONICS COMMAND at Fort Monmouth where the US Army Signal Corps Labs for the design and testing of (at the time) cutting edge military communications systems, Electronic Warfare systems and U.S. Army Satellite Command (SATCOM).

I used one pair in a pair of 2A3 Push-Pull mono amps. They sounded fantastic. Unfortunately I gave them to a beautiful girl that was the love of my (18 year old) life at the time. Six months later I couldn’t stand talking to her any longer. Young and stupid, I know. Now I’m older and less stupid. I was happier then. I couldn’t bring myself to ask for the amps back.

This pair has been sitting on my transformer shelves for decades. The plan was to use them in a pair of Western Electric 86 clones.
