【 Just Like the Real Thing 】 This final variant of the German “War Horse” the Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf.J. which served throughout the whole of WWII is now released as a 1/16 scale radio control assembly kit tank. Through the realistic reproduction of the tanks hull and the 7.5cm KwK 40 L48 main gun, the style of the Panzer IV can be easily seen. The hull is comprised of various metal parts guaranteeing chassis integrity. The underside is reproduced just like that of an actual tank using a metal plate. The DMD control unit allows easy control over forward/reverse and left/right turning actions including turret rotation and gun elevation. The gun firing action is accompanied with by realistic gun barrel and hull recoil actions as well as muzzle flash and firing sound effects. Furthermore the authentic engine sounds were digitally recorded at the Panzer Museum Munster in Germany from a very rare working Maybach V12 tank engine. The set conveniently includes 4-channel transmitter, 7.2V battery, and battery charger as well (Japan market only). Add the separately available Battle System and you can even have mock battles with other similarly equipped Tamiya R/C tanks!

【 Awesome Mobility 】 The front-mounted gearbox contains two Type 380 motors that can operate together or individually to produce forward/reverse running and pivot turning. Metal torsion bars and suspension arms combine with the wide tracks to smoothly absorb bumps and dips in the terrain and provide high maneuverability. In addition, realistic engine sounds accompany the tank as it starts up, drives, and stops to idle. Hull-mounted main gun can be elevated, depressed, and swung to the left and right.

【 Main Gun Firing 】 LED located in the barrel replicates the muzzle flash, and realistic firing sound accompany the firing of the main gun. The main gun is also equipped with its own recoil motor, which retracts the barrel before slowly returning it to the standard position after firing. In addition, the firing action is also linked to the gearbox to accurately reproduce the hull recoil movement as well. The front-mounted machine gun also features its own firing sounds and muzzle flashes.

【 About the Panzer IV 】 Throughout WWII, the Panzerkampfwagen IV including the last version the Ausf.J, had won the confidence and trust of the German troops who called it “the War Horse”. When the war started going bad for the Germans in 1944, saw the beginning of production of the Panzer Ausf.J which had a simplified design with better defensive abilities. The main gun was the 7.5cm KwK 40 L48 taken from the Ausf.H and for defense against approaching enemy infantry soldiers, installed in the turret was a new hatch for throwing grenades, and it continued using the borrowed schurzen from the Ausf.G. Inside the tank, the turret revolution engine was replaced by a manually operated two step operating system, with the extra space an additional fuel tank was built improving its range. The new model Ausf.J fought to the end of the war as the core of the German Tank Units along with the Panther and King Tiger tanks.
