On offer in the auction two pieces produced by Arthur Woods , England , the first a small teapot ( will hold 17 fluid ounces , just over 3/4 of a pint ) , the second item being a mug . The tea pot has a black band on top of the main body and lid handle in black also , pictured one side relaxed dog leaning on paws , the other side rear view of dog . The mug has the same pictures , making them satirical and eye catching . The teapot is not marked underside , but the mug is marked . Both items come in good clean condition , except for underside to lid of tea pot on the perimeter has a small old minor chip ( about the size of the nib end to a biro ) it is underside so does not show . Items weight is a total of 738 gram .
