Early 1970's Joe Leonard Indianapolis 500 Race Car Driver Signed Newspaper Print Picture Measuring 3.25" x 3.5" Most Likely This Newspaper Picture was Taken From a Starting Grid Insert of the Starting Field.
Leonard started the Indianapolis 500 from 1965 - 1973. His best finish was 3rd in 1967 and 1972. He was the pole sitter in 1968. Leonard was also an accomplished motorcycle racer.
Photo has a clear laminate over it. It is an irregular shape and the yellow strip at the top is in the actual photo and was probably a border of some sort to separate the driver photos.
Signature is in bold blue ink pen and would rate 9" - 10"
