The CD-2 powered up and the display was fully functional after the security code was entered. I did test some of the buttons and the radio channels showed up. The CD function light up. I did not connect the stereo to speakers I do not know how the sound is or if there are any issues.

I have been buying & selling Porsche parts for 18 years and owned many CD-2's over the years. Usually if it powers up then the radio typically works well. The CD player usually don't work on these CD-2 stereos. The CD players on these were problematic 15 years ago and uncommon to find one that works, so it will be a miracle if the CD player on this one will work fine. Assume you will have radio and the CD player will not work, which is the most probable case.
