LOGO for Commodore 64 is a great educational language for drawing lines, circles, patterns, etc using basic movement commands.

At the title screen, type DRAW to get started.

Example 1:

FORWARD 100

RIGHT 90

FORWARD 100

RIGHT  90

FORWARD 100

RIGHT 90

FORWARD 100

This controls the turtle to draw a square.

FORWARD  can be abbreviated with FD

RIGHT  can be abbreviated with RT

The 90 is degrees.

Example 2:

REPEAT 360 [RT 1 FD 1]

This will draw a full Circle.
