*HTF Vintage #5050 Coach LEGAL size Briefcase, Handle Portfolio, with original hangtag.  This is not the handbag that some list as a briefcase.  Double handle with reinforced leather attachment strips.  17” x 11” x 2”.  Hard to find in this size!  Unisex, “Greatly appreciated by both men and women”.  Circa early ‘70’s, possibly even late ‘60’s. Early Coach from when they used the thick baseball glove full grain leather.  “Completely Natural Glove Tanned Cowhide”.  

Talon brass industrial zipper, raw leather interior with embossed Coach information on interior pocket.  Has applied registration/serial number.  971-5220.  This numbering predates when they started using the style number as part of the identification. Made in USA. 

Made to last, Made in NYC.  Has leather attached strips that serve to reinforce the handles.  Excellent Used condition.  Lovely patina to this full grain leather.  Some expected discoloration on the handles from wear.  Comes from smoke free and pet free home.  Has always been stored in an interior climate controlled closet.
