Presented is a wonderful signed sterling silver and fossil jewelry set, by third generation Navajo silversmith Artie Yellowhorse. The set consists of a pair of earrings with matching pendant, each set with a unique ammonite fossil captured in mottled brown stone. The fossils are each different, as expected of naturally occurring prehistoric shells, each with its own charm. The settings have a simple, elegant ropetwist design. The earrings dangle from a small 'stud' with post style backs for wear with pierced ears. The pendant has a large, wide bail at the top, about 10.7 millimeters interior measurement, which will accommodate a wide variety of chain or cord sizes and styles.

Both the earrings and the pendant are in excellent condition. The fossils are well set with no chips.

The pendant and one earring are both signed Artie Yellowhorse as well as sterling on the back.

Each earring measures about 7/8 of an inch in diameter. The necklace measures about 2 inches long including the bail/loop at the top, and about 1 1/4 inches wide.

The total weight for the set is 31.3 grams or 1.1 regular ounces.
